This policy explains how MindWrite handles your data, including what stays on your device, what purchase information is handled by Apple, and what happens when you visit the website.
MindWrite does not require account registration, and it does not require your name, phone number, or email address for the core writing experience.
MindWrite does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs for behavioral tracking.
To support resume, draft recovery, and preference memory, the app stores writing drafts, preferences, and limited progress data on your device.
This data is used to restore your writing session, is not used for ads, and is not synced to any cloud service we control.
If you unlock the premium library, payment is processed through Apple’s App Store system. We do not directly receive your full payment card details.
Restore purchases also relies on Apple-provided mechanisms, and the relevant purchase history is managed within your Apple account context.
The current website is a static site with no login, no comments, no built-in form submission, and no cookie-based tracking features.
We do not deploy third-party advertising pixels or cross-site tracking scripts. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
If you delete the app, drafts and preferences stored locally on your device are typically removed by the system as part of the uninstall process.
Purchase history processed by Apple may still be retained within your Apple account to support restore purchases.
The current version is not designed for medical diagnosis, therapy, or mental health evaluation, and it does not require you to submit sensitive health information.
If the product capabilities change in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
